Throw Stones At Your Own Ego

Absolutely nothing replaces fanaticism and hunger.

You need a voracious desire to learn.

As I continue to grow, I become more aware that the reason behind my lack of success compared to another is due to a deficiency on my end. There are many different ways that a person has to die to show up as a more enlightened human being.

If someone surpasses you in life, it is because they are better than you at the game. Do not throw stones at them. Throw them at your ego instead. Admit deficiencies and learn their strengths.

1. Cultivating Self-Awareness:

The first step in understanding this important life lesson is recognizing that we all have strengths and weaknesses. No one is perfect, and acknowledging our deficiencies is a critical aspect of personal growth. When someone surpasses us, it's an opportunity to reflect on our own limitations and areas where we can improve. By throwing stones at our ego instead of resenting their success, we open ourselves to self-awareness and self-improvement.

2. Fostering a Growth Mindset:

A growth mindset is the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and hard work. When we encounter someone who excels in a particular area, we have the choice to view it as an inspiration rather than a threat. Embracing their success encourages us to strive for continuous improvement, learning from their strengths, and adopting a growth mindset.

3. Learning from Others:

Every person we encounter has something valuable to teach us. When someone surpasses us, it's an opportunity to learn from their journey and experience. They may have insights, strategies, or perspectives that we can incorporate into our own endeavors. By admitting our deficiencies and learning from their strengths, we expand our knowledge and skill set, ultimately becoming better versions of ourselves.
