Those Who Pay, Pay Attention
There are 2 reasons its essential to their success that they pay you. First. those who pay, pay attention. And the more they pay, the closer attention they pay. You are doing your audience a huge disservice if you undervalue what you are selling.
Second, the more success you have, the less time you will have. You will need to put up barriers to protect your time so you can serve more people. By charging for what you do, you are showing those who do invest how much you really care about your success.
Introducing Your Framework:
#1: Share How You Learned It Or Earned It
The big mistake that most people make as soon as they introduce their framework is they want to jump straight into teaching the strategy and tactics. You must explain the pre-frame to the person so they understand why what you're sharing is so important. Handing them wisdom through a pre-frame changes everything; they now understand how it is meant to save them the pain and suffering that you had to go through in order to be there delivering the message to them. They will be able to understand the value of what they are hearing. During this part of the process you should also acknowledge the giants that you learned any piece of your framework from. You've spent time learning and studying from others to build your framework. You've interviewed countless people. WHenver you share something that you learned from someone else, give them credit. Many people think that sharing the source of their knowledge somehow diminishes their status in the minds of the people listening, but the opposite is true.
#2: Share the Strategy (the what you do)
Strategy is an overarching plan or set of goals. Tactics are the specific actions or steps you undertake to accomplish your strategy. You have life experiences and talents that others don't have that do give you an unfair advantage. B getting your process to work for others, you lose the unfair advantage and you have to adjust your process to make up for those shortcomings.
The other reason is that people are always skeptical of the expert. Even if they believe you, they will think it's because you have some type of special abilities that they don't have, so they will dismiss your ability to help them. Showing them that it didn't just work for you, but it also worked for people just like them, is the key to getting them to believe in your framework. Fromt he first minute you start applying your framework to others and every day after you start sharing these frameworks, you need to be gathering the stories, case studies, testimonials, examples, and proof that your framework can get results for the people you are serving.
