I Am A Hunter of Human Excellence

Mastery: The ultimate power is anticipation. Leaders anticipate; losers repeat. Success leaves clues - you must model someone who is already getting the results you want.

Principles That Add Power To Your Life

The Power of Focus

What you consistently focus on in your life you will achieve. Focus is power. How do you direct your focus? Nothing gives us the ability to focus our thinking like questions. By asking better questions, you'll get better answers and therefore better results.

What do I really want? What is my outcome? What result am I committed to achieving?

Why do I want to do this? Why is it a "must" for me to get this result? What's my purpose?

What are the specific actions I need to take in order to achieve this result?

The Power of Language

Words produce emotions. The words you use to describe things affect not only your communication - with others as well as yourself - but they affect how you actually experience things in your life.

It's important to choose words with the power to move you emotionally.

The Power of A Results Focused Life

A result is the target; the specific measurable outcome that you want to achieve (not the activity to get it done, but the actual end goal you are after).

Questions that help you focus on the results:

  • What do I really want?
  • What is my outcome?
  • What is the specific result I'm committed to achieve?

The Power of Purpose

Add a purpose that drives you.

  • What will this give me?
  • How will it make me feel?
  • Why is it an absolute must for me to achieve this result?
  • What's my real purpose?

The Power of Massive Action

20% of what you must do in life makes 80% of the difference. Focus on the result and then discover the purpose - after you may start to build your massive action plan. If you do not do it in this order, you will just end up with a huge list of to-do's.

The Power of Chunking

Most people are only able to focus on a limited number of things at one time. You need to group or "chunk" your wants, needs, ideas, tasks, follow-ups and appointments into lists and then capture, sort, and grouped according to the results they relate to.

The Power of Leverage

What are some things in your life that you're doing yourself that could be done (possibly better or more efficiently) by someone else? If money is a factor for you, get creative. What service could you offer for a trade? If you're doing things consistently that don't support you, or if it would be more fulfilling spending your time elsewhere, then it's time to break that pattern and come up with an alternative.
